Our primary focus is on leveraging our collective experiences for the betterment of our community and society as a whole. EdCC Student Chapter

Edmonds Community College is the first college on the West Coast to have a Student HTCIA Chapter. Students enrolled at the college participate in free training events, conduct community outreach, and are active particpants in combating computer related crime along with the Washington State Chapter. Many are enrolled in the Information Security and Digital Forensics program at the college.

Edmonds Community College has partnered with the Washington State HTCIA, donating meeting space and resources again for 2017. This is the eleventh year of sponsorship!

We send a heartfelt THANK YOU to the college president, Dr. Jean Hernandez, as well as the EdCC board members. Your foresight in understanding the importance of the HTCIA to our community will allow us to be a driving force to further educate those with the responsibility of combating high tech crime, and will also allow us to educate our citizens to help prevent them from becoming victims.

Edmonds Community College was one of the first colleges in the state to offer comprehensive training in digital forensics and information security, and remains a leader in these fields.
